She is French German Irish and Scottish roots. Her family's Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery was founded within Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 by her family. John Martin Magenau Jr. was the president and CEO of the brewery from its establishment at Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 until 1978. Jacobs started studying acting when she was eight years old, and she took lessons in acting in The Pittsburgh Playhouse. She performed at Pittsburgh's Public Theatre. Pittsburgh Public Theater, where she won the Public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest many times. Mt. Jacobs was a student at Lebanon High School from 2000 to the year 2004. She graduated in 2004 with her bachelor's degree.
