Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a singer/songwriter from the country genre. The group she formed with Ashley Monroe called Pistol Annies, with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, and then released her 2nd album, named Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she released The Blade. This album has earned her fame and acclaim. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for more than 15 years. She was the majority of that time as a deputy city manager for Iowa City. The current Assistant Village Manager's duties include managing the Community Development and Building Department in coordination of grants as well as the execution of special projects. Ashley is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of Riverside Village, while also working to implement the strategy and vision for elected officers. Ashley's previous roles included municipal planning, communications for government and budgeting. She also managed personnel as well as collective negotiations. She also focused on the climate change issue. Ashley has the ability to utilize her previous experience of working with a range of local and national organisations. She has also acquired an understanding of the manner in which public organisations function. Ashley's teaching focuses on the latest methods of public management and leadership, from the viewpoint of an experienced practitioner.
